Mario was born in Argentina and immigrated to Victoria, BC in 1982. He has been flying kites since 2003. Mario has competed at the master level in precision and ballet. He has performed at kite festivals throughout BC, Saskatchewan, Oregon, New Jersey, Washington DC, Saudi Arabia and China. One of Mario's passions is the use of LED lights on kites (and sometimes himself) for his indoor kite performances. Mario was a member of Team Canada in the World Kite Cup competition in Berck-Sur Mer, France (April 2024)
